AMC Clinical preparation questions.

Exam requirements can change. For applications, eligibility and scheduling, use the official provider information.

Visit the AMC
What is the AMC Clinical examination?

It is the clinical skills assessment within the AMC Standard Pathway. Use the AMC’s current information for eligibility, format and scheduling. LearnMedicine provides independent preparation, not examination registration.

AMC: clinical examination
How do I prepare for the AMC Clinical exam?

Work on a structured consultation, clear communication and explaining your clinical reasoning. Use case teaching to identify gaps, rehearse the station task aloud and revisit difficult areas. Check current AMC preparation guidance alongside any course.

AMC: official examination resources
Which subjects are covered in the AMC Clinical courses?

Explore medicine and surgery, physical examination, paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology, psychiatry, counselling cases and case summaries. These are LearnMedicine collections, not a guarantee of every examination scenario.

Does this include AMC Part 1 or AMC MCQ preparation?

This page describes AMC Clinical preparation, often called AMC Part 2. It is not an AMC CAT MCQ question-bank offering. Confirm which assessment you are preparing for before choosing resources.

AMC: check your assessment pathway
How long does AMC Clinical preparation take?

Your starting point, clinical experience, practice opportunities and weekly study time matter more than a fixed number of weeks. Choose a manageable schedule, review your progress and allow time to practise communication and examination skills.

Can I use this online course from outside Australia?

The published course material is available online during active membership. This does not change where or how you can sit the actual examination. Check delivery and booking requirements directly with the AMC.

AMC: current examination arrangements
Can I revisit lessons and track my revision?

Yes. Return to published recordings and notes, track lesson completion, plan study sessions, and use quizzes, flashcards and the mistakes notebook while your membership is active.

Do I need to buy each AMC subject separately?

No. The published AMC Clinical subject collections and PESCI course are included in one active membership. Choose 3, 6 or 12 months on the membership page; examination fees and separately offered add-ons are not included.
