AI role-play
Rehearse the station out loud. Then read your marked feedback.
Practise AMC Clinical and PESCI stations by voice with an AI role player, then receive marked feedback. Beta, included with paid membership. See how credits work.
Rehearse the consultation, out loud.
Beta
AI role-play lets you practise AMC Clinical and PESCI stations by voice with an AI role player, then read a marked feedback report on how the consultation went. It is included with paid membership, with practice credits for each plan.
It is practice, not a prediction. The feedback is not an official result and does not promise an exam outcome.
How a station works.
- Choose a stationPick an AMC Clinical or PESCI station from Exam practice.
- Use the reading timeRead the candidate instructions, as you would before entering the room.
- Run the role-play by voiceSpeak with an AI role player through the consultation or discussion, using your microphone.
- Read your marked feedbackReceive a marked feedback report. During the first three weeks of the beta, Dr Roman reviews every report before it is released.
Reports are not instant while Dr Roman reviews them, so plan to come back for your feedback.
Practice credits.
An AMC Clinical station uses 2 credits. A PESCI station uses 3 credits.
| Plan | Credits | AMC Clinical stations | PESCI stations |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3 Months (A$799) | 6 | 3 | 2 |
| 6 Months (A$899) | 18 | 9 | 6 |
| 12 Months (A$999) | 40 | 20 | 13 |
Station counts are either/or: for example, 6 credits is 3 AMC Clinical stations or 2 PESCI stations.
- Credits last until your membership ends.
- Each station can be practised once.
- A station that fails to start uses no credits.

What to expect from the beta.
- You may meet technical problems, and the AI feedback is still being improved.
- You will need a microphone, a quiet space and a reliable connection. Device and browser support has not yet been confirmed.
- Please send feedback after each practice: what worked, and what did not.
What if a station does not start?
A station that fails to start uses no credits. Microphone checks and reading time do not use credits either. If something goes wrong, keep a screenshot with the station name, the approximate time, and your device and browser, then contact LearnMedicine support.
Can I repeat a station?
No. Each station can be practised once, so choose a different station to keep practising. Your credits are the number of stations you can start, not the number of attempts at one station.
What happens when my credits run out?
You can’t start more AI role-play stations until you have credits again. Your lessons, notes and self-practice cases stay available for the rest of your membership. Credits last until your membership ends.
Is the feedback an official result?
No. It is practice feedback to help you reflect on your consultation. It is not an AMC or PESCI result, and it doesn’t predict one. The AI can make mistakes, and the feedback is still being improved.
What happens to my voice and data?
Your voice is sent to OpenAI and converted to text. The role player’s replies are AI-generated text read aloud by an AI-generated voice. LearnMedicine does not retain raw audio. Transcripts, reports and review feedback are retained for up to 30 days; provider retention rules also apply.
